The lady speaking here proposes that you should listen to and learn other languages in the same way you listen to music, and try to imitate the sounds just like you try to imitate the lyrics of a new song you like. What I propose that my students do, is simply listen and compare--which language sounds most musical to you? Which language(s), if you were able to, would you prefer to learn here in high school, based solely on how it sounds? Which countries would you like to travel to, based on Susanna's descriptions and/or photographs?
